ACCOLADES
My daughter was a good reader, but wanted to be a great reader. Daphne worked with her in a one-on-one setting, modeling strategies that connected her to the text in the pages of her books. My daughter is starting to make connections with characters, plots, and settings. She is also starting to make connections with people and experiences in both school and home. In her words, she looks forward to reading because "I like thinking." - Megan M
Daphne worked with our 10 year old daughter and in a short period of time, identified our daughter's challenges, taught her to read deeply with intention, gave her practical tools to organize her writing and, most importantly, positively influenced our daughter's sense of self and her confidence.
